Ginger Bread Trip to the Marriot

Last year Mom started our little Dixon Girls tradition of driving all the way up to North Scottsdale to see the annual gingerbread display at the Marriot hotel followed by dinner to some place new. This year it was Season's 52 at the Biltmore. YUM-O!

This years theme was Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Very Creative!

The hotel is so cute! They have a "letters to Santa" station, where guests can write a letter to Santa and then receive a response the next morning in their room! The kids write their letter and then drop it in the Santa Approved Red Mail Box to get their response. It's adorable!

They also had 2 citizens from Whoville all dressed up along with the Grinch himself to take pictures with!

Zoo Lights!

Our Annual Zoo Lights Night Out! Hot Cocoa in hand. Zoo lights never disappoints! 3rd year in a row for Bill and Nicole joining us. For 6 years Justin and I've been attending Zoo Lights! A great reminder of our first date....Well, it was a pretty good date, up until we had to end the night early due to his flu symptoms and 100+ fever! I guess in the end it all worked out.
